Sharna Fey was a consummate professional when we first met by phone. With considerable corporate experience both in training and management in the hotel industry, she had become certified as a coach and coaching trainer through the highly respected Coach Training Institute.

Sharna’s confidence in her ability to support people in achieving professional and personal goals was high, but she was struggling with how to successfully market her coaching business, leverage her considerable skills to substantially increase revenues, and bring more balance to her life. Together, we designed a customized coaching program for her. Building on the many strengths she already possessed, we stretched her in ways that generated the perfect degree of creative tension to take her confidently to new levels.

One aspect of our program has been a value-add compensation scale whereby Sharna could pay a portion of her program fees based on a percentage of the increase in revenues realized by working her coaching program. Through our work together, Sharna’s annual income has nearly tripled, putting her consistently at six figures and climbing. In 2007 alone, her value-add payments to me equaled more than a fourth of the total annual income she was generating when we started our work together. At the same time, she reports working less, feeling far more pleasure in her day-to-day tasks, and realizing exciting new expressions of her professional creativity. This allows her the luxury of spending several weeks a year at her new condo on Maui!
